DescriptionThis course helps the student to identify tasks for data warehouse maintenance and optimization. The students will be able to optimize query performance, optimize backup and restore operations, and perform automated administration of a data warehouse. In addition, the course prepares students to take the Microsoft Certification Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (70-019). AudienceThis course is intended for all system administrators, help desk/support personnel, and application developers who design and implement data warehouse solutions by using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. PrerequisitesThe student should be familiar with the relational database and data warehousing concepts and terminology and should have an experience in designing database management systems.
