Description
The Using SQL 7.0 OLAP Services course is the third course in the SQL Server 7.0 - Data Warehousing curriculum consisting of four courses. It provides students with an introduction to the concepts, architecture, and various features of the Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) Services . It also provides students with the preliminary knowledge for creating a data warehouse for use with OLAP Services. The students will be able to design and optimize an OLAP database. In addition, the course prepares students to take the Microsoft certification Administering Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (70-019).
Audience
All System Administrators, Help Desk/Support personnel, and Application Developers who design and implement data warehouse solutions by using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0.
Prerequisites
Before taking this course, the user should be familiar with the relational database and data warehousing concepts and terminology, and should have an experience in designing database management systems. The user should also have an understanding of Windows NT 4.0 Server and should have a knowledge of basic ANSI statements.
