The Media Elements & Authoring Applications course is the third course in the Flash 5 curriculum. This course teaches users how to create interactive movies by assigning basic actions to them. It further teaches how to add sound effects to a Flash movie and manipulate the sound. Users also learn how to create a video from a Flash movie and integrate Flash movies with Dreamweaver and Director.

This course is designed for users who want to create interactive Flash movies by assigning actions and sound effects to them create video using Flash movies and import and work with Flash movies in Dreamweaver and Director.
PrerequisitesBefore taking this course the users should be familiar with the basic concepts of creating animations in Flash. Additionally users should be familiar with the interfaces of Dreamweaver and Director.
ObjectiveUpon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Use actions to create interactive movies
- Assign actions to objects
- Import sound and optimize sound for export
- Adjust Flash movies for video output
- Create sequences from Flash movies
- Integrate Flash files with Dreamweaver and Director
