The Creating Animations in Flash 5 course is the second course in the Flash 5 curriculum. The course is designed to enable users to create and edit animations using Flash 5. It provides information about various components used for creating and organizing animations. Additionally the course acquaints users with the tools and features of Flash that simplify the task of creating animations. The course also provides information on testing and publishing animations before posting them on the Web.

Audience
This course is designed for users who want to use Flash 5 to create animations for making interactive Web sites.
Prerequisites
Users should be familiar with the Flash 5 interface various drawing and painting tools and edit operations in Flash.
Objective
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Create and edit a layer
- Identify the components of the Timeline and edit animations on it
- Create symbols and instances
- Work with Flash libraries
- Create frame-by-frame and tweened animations
- Preview test publish and export a movie
