Audience
Business users who will work with any of the modules in the SAP R/3 System. Experience working with one or more Windows-based applications.
Objective
- Use R/3 to control the system display information from the system and to use the screen's entry and display fields.
- Use the mouse or keyboard to control the R/3 System and execute R/3 functions by executing mouse clicks on a toolbar or by using function keys.
- Access R/3 applications using the three levels of the menu system.
- Execute transactions by working in a dialog with the system.
- Understand dialog messages that point out errors or ask you to check entries for accuracy.
- Work in parallel with several applications.
- Access and use the R/3 Help System Reference Library and Extended Help.
- Use a matchcode as a help tool to allow you to search for information already saved in the R/3 System.
- Use special functions to execute the same procedures multiple times handle various data print data from the system and automatically transfer large volumes of data into the R/3 System.

Unit 2: Help Functions
- Applications of R/3's online documentation.
- Various functions of the F1 key.
- Call for information on input via the Results Help Button the Magnifying Glass button or the F4 key.
- Search for information using matchcodes and transfer results to an input field.
- Use different selection criteria for discrete searches.
Unit 3: Special Functions
- Use input and entry services in R/3 including the setting of user parameters and functions such as 'Keep Data' and 'Set Data'.
- Print lists and reports.
- Make effective use of print control services.
- Create and use personalized menus.

Minimum Requirements
The CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
