Training Provided by Serebra Learning Corporation Design Team - Business Process Modelling enables communication between staff working upon the analysis and design of processes and information boundaries in an organisation and the boundaries and scope of a system. The Modelling activity produces diagrams which form the basis of both new information systems and business process engineering. This course teaches the whole process of applying each technique - from information gathering through to final verification. The diagrammatic standards within the course are compatible with all major proprietary tools and methodologies, including the SAP R3 3.0 "Reference Model". This course teaches the whole process of business process modelling. It uses interactive problem solving to develop a thorough understanding of the techniques. In addition 5 major exercises are embedded within the course to ensure that the techniques are applied to real world problems.

Description

XEBEC: The final part of the Effective Presentations series concentrates on putting the presenter's skills to the test. From within a fictitious but very realistic simulation, they can evaluate their progress through each stage, choosing how to proceed in the most effective manner through to a successful outcome. Even highly experienced presenters can use this course to access, hone and perfect their skills.

Audience

The series is aimed at anyone who makes or is likely to make a presentation including, marketing and sales professionals, managers and team leaders, professional staff and people who represent the company to customers, suppliers and the industry.

Objective

Unit Module 1: Preparing your Presentation

  • Introduces the business case study scenario and then steps students through the preparation phase of the presentation with a series of scored exercises, focusing specifically on:
  • gathering information
  • choosing a heading
  • editing the presentation for the ear
  • preparing and using notecards
  • selecting suitable visual aids to illustrate key points

Unit Module 2: Delivering Your Presentation

  • takes the form of a video simulation exercise, where students guide the female presenter through the delivery stage and critique her performance. The simulation is divided into 5 key stages:
  • choosing an opener
  • tailoring notes to suit the audience
  • selecting visual aids
  • the close
  • question and answer session

apply these key ideas in the preparation of a business presentation

analyse the behaviour and performance of a presenter

evaluate each stage of a presentation and make recommendations of what to do next

Hardware requirements:
