This course aims to provide all the employees in your company working with Product Data the basic information they require to carry out their day-to-day work with the PDM module. It is assumed here that you are using SAP R/3 4.x the CAD system AutoCAD 14.01 and AutoCAD SAP R/3 3.1 on Windows NT 4.0. The scenario PDM - Product Data Management semi-finished and finished products without variants of the R/3 reference model is dealt with here. The user is provided with an example of implementing the product development process with change management using the SAP R/3 PDM module AutoCAD and AutoCAD SAP R/3 PDM. The emphasis here is placed on familiarizing the user with system functions within the framework of a business process.

Minimum RequirementsThe CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
