This course introduces various definitions of assertiveness and gives examples of using assertiveness to counter passive and aggressive behaviour. It will help you identify the benefits of assertiveness and gives you practice at identifying and analysing different types of behaviour.

Description

When a candidate comes for an interview, they are probably nervous, even a bit intimidated. If you want to get the environment right for a successful interview, you need to make them feel welcome and relaxed from the moment they step in the door. Candidates will perform better if put at ease, and they will leave with a positive attitude towards your company if they are treated well.

Audience

This course is aimed at anyone in the organisation who is involved in recruitment interviewing, and who has little or no experience. The guidelines offered here are of benefit to anyone involved in conducting interviews, with candidates, customers or your own employees. Course length: 05 minutes. Course length including test time: 10 minutes.
