Audience
The targeted audience for this curriculum includes Domino developers who currently use Domino R5 and are moving to Domino 6.
Objective
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- identify features of new data types in LotusScript for Domino Designer 6.
- identify syntax used when modifying a view.
- identify syntax used when creating tables in Domino Designer 6.
- identify features of Extensible Markup Language (XML).
- identify features of Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT).
- identify benefits of Domino Extensible Language (DXL).
- identify features of a Data Connection Resource (DCR) in Domino Designer 6.
- identify options available on the Basics tab when creating a Data Connection Resource (DCR).
- identify options available on the Options tab when customizing a Data Connection Resource (DCR).

- Identify steps for mapping Domino Designer 6 form fields to an external data source.
- Identify steps for exchanging data between Domino Designer 6 and an external data source.

Minimum Requirements
The CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
The network version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
