Description

This course teaches training Administrators the skills and knowledge necessary to setup, access, track, and manage corporate training resources using Web SVM Administrator 2.4.2. Students will learn the key tasks and procedures in the areas of system setup, training resource setup, user management and configuration, and reporting. Students will also get a brief introduction to learning management systems (LMS) and the role they play within a training organization. Upon completing this course, students will be prepared to effectively fulfill their role as training administrators using Web SVM 2.4.2.

Audience

The audience for this course would include the person who is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and administration of a NETg course library within an organization. Manages student registration, tracking, and reporting. The goal of this course is to teach training Administrators the skills and knowledge necessary to setup, access, track, and manage corporate training resources using Web SVM Administrator 2.4.2.

The CDROM version of this course requires:

  • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
  • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
  • At least 8MB RAM.
  • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
  • At least a double speed CDROM drive.
  • An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended.
The network version of this course requires:
  • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
  • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
  • At least 8MB RAM and 14MB available hard disk space or file server space.
