- Simulation Overview:
- In this simulation you will meet with Drew Canfield Sales Director for the Telecommunications Division Carla Jackson the division's Trade Show Coordinator and Greg Baldwin the division's Marketing Communications Director. You are joining the team as the Public Relations Director. You are meeting to discuss how to market Icon's new Web TVXD (Web Television Exploration Device) in the upcoming Regional Consumer Electronics Show. Specifically the team needs to address what activities are going to take place at the TVXD booth. Each of your teammates has different ideas about what needs to happen and this makes conflict highly likely in the meeting. You must ensure that the meeting ends with a strategy that everyone feels confident about.

- Simulation Overview:
- In this simulation you will meet with Patty Chen Colleen Ford and Ronald Spear. You are all Account Executives in Icon's Telecommunications Division and you have been chosen to work on a team that will develop a proposal for a very large potential client the Enson Corporation. Enson is looking for a video-conferencing system to install in their multiple branches around the world. The four of you were put on this team because you are so diverse in your experiences and backgrounds. In order to make this a successful meeting you and your teammates must get to know one another and establish your goals as a team as well as the initial responsibilities of each team member.
Unit 3: Resolving Conflict in a Diverse Team
- Arrange in order the steps to make conflict constructive in a diverse team.
- Identify the guidelines you should follow when resolving team conflict.
- Resolve team conflict in a diverse setting by following the correct guidelines.
- Simulation Overview:
- In this simulation you are meeting with Ronald Spear Patty Chen and Colleen Ford. You are all Account Executives in Icon's Telecommunications Division. You have been assigned to work together on a proposal for the Enson Corporation. The four of you were assigned to create the proposal contract and presentation for the account. The proposals and the overall contract have been created and the four of you are now in a meeting in which you are discussing the presentation of the proposals. Each of your teammates has a different view of who should be the one to give the presentation and it is causing conflict within the team. You must use your skills in working with diverse teams to prevent the conflict from becoming destructive and help the team use the conflict as a tool to solve the problem.

The CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
