Creativity and Innovation: Increasing Personal Creativity offers the student information required to mentally and physically prepare for creativity; incorporate innocence intuition and adventure into creative thinking; and use creativity to generate ideas and solve problems. The program describes exercises that can be used to prepare the mind and body for creative thinking and explains the most common ways creativity is incorporated into problem solving.

This program is written for any employee in an organization who wants to learn how to stimulate his or her creativity.

- Simulation Overview:
- In this simulation you will be meeting with Robin Carlson Icon's Director of Existing Account Sales. Robin has been labeled a top performer at Icon and she is considered by many to be one of the most creative employees in her division. Through a series of questions and Robin's answers you will learn about how you can follow steps to mentally prepare to be creative how to increase you creativity and what you should do physically to prepare yourself to be creative.

- In this simulation you will be meeting with Elizabeth Thomas Icon's Trade Show Coordinator. During her work as a coordinator Elizabeth has learned what it takes to be successful and creative. Through a series of questions and Elizabeth's answers you will learn about methods you can use to increase your powers of intuition how to determine if you are adventurous and methods you can use to become more adventurous in your life.
Unit 3: Creatively Managing Ideas and Problems
- Use the steps to creatively develop an idea.
- Identify the steps for creatively developing an idea.
- Use the guidelines for generating good ideas.
- Solve a problem through creative thinking.
- Simulation Overview:
- In this simulation you will be meeting with Drew Canfield Icon's Sales Director for the Telecommunications Division. While working in sales Drew has constantly found creative ways to promote both Icon and its products and services. Through a series of questions and Drew's answers you will learn about the steps you can use to creatively develop an idea how you can prepare to generate good ideas and how you can solve a problem through creative thinking.

Minimum Requirements
The CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
