Icon is on the verge of expansion and needs to fill positions in Marketing and Accounting as quickly as possible. Lance and Maggie have never used the Internet for recruiting employees. You must explain the benefits and the process of using Internet recruitment. It is your job to decide according to your knowledge whether it will be best to utilize Internet recruiting or a more traditional job Web site.

As a member of Icona s Human Resources you will help David and Caroline put together a posting site that is interesting and honest. By following the steps for building a creative posting and refining the posting you should succeed in properly outlining the necessary candidates.

One of Icona s best Market Research Analysts left on short notice and the position needs to be filled immediately. Regular recruitment posting will take too long so it was decided that you should search resumes on the Internet. To ensure success you must follow the steps to develop an Internet search strategy. If and when you receive a match to your search make sure you use proper Netiquette when responding to the candidate.

The CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
