Description

In this course, the student will learn how to create, edit, format, and print documents in MS Word 2000.  This course also teaches the student how to add tables and graphics in documents.

Audience

This course is targeted at students who plan to clear the Microsoft Word 2000 MOUS Care exam.

Prerequisites

To benefit completely from this course, the student should have hands-on experience on a Personal Computer, and should know how to start a program or an application in MS Windows 95.

Objective

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

create documents by: inserting text in a document saving a document, printing a document, using templates and wizards, inserting hyperlinks in a document Format text by: setting font characteristics, formatting paragraphs, inserting bullets, numbers, and symbols Edit documents by finding and replacing text, copying and pasting text, linking and embedding documents, using Spelling, Grammar, and Thesaurus features, repeating AutoCorrect entries Format documents by: applying borders and shading to a document, setting page margins and orientation Work with tables and graphics by: creating and formatting tables, resizing and modifying tables, using the Drawing toolbar, inserting WordArt and ClipArt in a document
