Description

This course teaches the student how to organize Word documents using features such as table of contents, cross-referencing, and indexes.  The course also teaches the student how to modify and protect documents.

Audience

This course is targeted at students who plan to clear the Microsoft Word 2000 MOUS Expert exam.

Prerequisites

To benefit completely from this course, the student should have hands-0n experience on a Personal Computer, and should know how to start a program or an application in MS Windows 95. As well, the student should be familiar with the objectives for the Microsoft Word 2000 MOUS Core Exam.

Objective

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

work with documents by - creating and modifying page borders, using bookmarks, creating and editing styles, creating watermarks, working with master documents and sub-documents creating and modifying a table of contents and indexes, creating cross-reference work with pictures and charts by creating and modifying charts, importing data into charts protect documents create multiple versions of a document track changes to documents apply paragraph and section
