This course covers enhanced hardware support. You will become acquainted with the procedure for installing and configuring modems and network adapters, and you will learn to create calling cards and to configure such devices as faxes, digital video discs (DVD), and video adapters. Furthermore, this course introduces you to new hardware, such as cameras, and IrDA and Universal Serial Bus (USB) devices, and teaches you to install and configure each of these devices. Finally, you will learn about hardware profiles and tools that will enable you to optimize the performance of hardware devices. Guidelines for troubleshooting problems related to different hardware devices are also covered in this course.
