This course introduces the concepts of Object Technology. At the end of the course delegates will be able to understand the concepts of object orientation and have acquired the basic skills they will need to appreciate the value of best practices and how they provide a solid foundation for successful software development.

This course introduces the concepts of Object Technology. At the end of the course delegates will be able to understand the concepts of object orientation and have acquired the basic skills they will need to appreciate the value of best practices and how they provide a solid foundation for successful software development.

The Introduction to Object Technology covers the following;
Common problems and mistakes in software development

The role of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and how it helps to

The relationship between object technology and best practices
A definition and history of object technology
Prerequisites
None, except some experience in software development.
No knowledge of object-oriented concepts or of object-oriented design or programming is assumed.
