IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
A one day course which explains the disciplines within the ITIL methodology and their relationship to each other. This course is designed for staff who whilst not working directly in an IT environment, are required to work closely with IT colleagues and therefore would benefit from an appreciation of ITIL. The course also benefits senior managers who require a high level understanding of what ITIL best practice encompasses, its aims and objectives.

- S asked: How can I become ITIL aware in a working environment or what does that mean. What must I have studied to be ITIL aware. There is a job that says ITIL awareness as one of their job requirement. Their qualification needs, say you must have Matric plus a relevant qualification and relevant years experience. I have Office Management and Technology as a diploma and worked at the IT company for years. Currently I'm working as IT Projects Coordinator, Fleet and Asset Manager of the company...One of my duties is to despatch IT Technicians to site when there is a call. Can I apply for the job? Because I have a good understanding of administration, the other aspect they mentioned as a requirement.

Courses are delivered by ITIL Service Manager qualified tutors who have practical experience of working with and implementing ITIL. The course provides delegates with an opportunity to raise questions and share experiences of working with the ITIL best practice.
