This 2-day Contract Modification Process program we will demonstrate how to establish an effective change order/contract modification process; prepare, negotiate, evaluate, process and document contract modifications; and determine a price for contract changes that is fair and reasonable according to FTA Circular 4220.1(d). We will describe the roles and responsibilities required to ensure an effective modification process; indicate the methods to analyze and evaluate types of contract changes; and provide tools for the analysis and documentation of modifications.
