In a stressful working environment being able to bounce back and recover quickly are important attributes. Research of the survivor personality shows that resiliency can be nurtured and strengthened. This workshop explores some of the skill-sets that make that possible. Based on the work of Nan Henderson, Al Siebert, and Bonnie Benard, this workshop is highly experiential and inspired by the Balinese proverb skill is only a rumor until it reaches the muscle . Come prepared to make practical changes to how you deal with the business jungle .

- N asked: Good Morning, I am a supervisor for an outbound Pharma Sales Team in Pennsylvania and I have been recently researching resiliancy for team building. I have started to put a training session in place for some of the tenured employees I have on my team. Any additional resources you have as far as guidelines for Resiliency in the Workplace would be much appreciated. I have found so many articles and helpful resources online and am beginning to sort through and find the most relevant for our office. Thanks in advance. Wohlforth

Day one
q Outline of resiliency research / elements of resilient personality
q How you can change perceptions and use them as a tool for raising resiliency
q Develop the strategies of flexible thinkers an essential element of resilient personality
q Transform relationship-with-self via internal dialogue
q Dealing with difficult people
Day Two
q Learn to use a simple process which enables alignment of behaviors, values and beliefs
q Discover how to help others tap into their own latent capacity for resilience
q Practice using creative solutions to stressful situations
q Closing questions, discussion & evaluation
At the end of this course participants will have -
q a set of strategies they can use to deal with stressful situations
