Training Program Details
What is a Six Sigma Black Belt?
The Black Belt level is a significant step up in the Six Sigma hierarchy. Black Belts are taught an extensive array of statistical tools and analytical techniques. They are introduced to several project management techniques useful for Six Sigma projects and learn how to use Six Sigma software tools.
Only those who are expected to do significant Six Sigma project work are typically trained to the Black Belt level. However, an increasing number of senior executives have been trained to this level in order to help drive an understanding of the methods in their organizations.
This course assumes that the students understand everything included in the Green Belt level. If they do not have a formal certification, they must demonstrate that to us to enroll. Students must also complete a project under the review of the master instructor in addition to 15 days of course work and an exam. Sorry, we can not accept projects done prior to this class.
