During this 1-day program participants will gain a better understanding of the negotiation process and negotiating tactics and styles. Participants will learn to develop basic negotiating skills in one-on-one and team negotiations. Topics covered include the negotiating environment; importance of planning; choosing a negotiation model that works; and establishing agendas and control plans. To ensure learning, an opportunity to apply knowledge of negotiation process to internal and external negotiations will be provided. Participants will apply learning through a self-assessment questionnaire and receive feedback.
