The purpose of this 2-day program is to provide information about how companies align resources and manage projects after obtaining a government contract. As a result of attending this program, participants will be able to describe how organizations develop and manage project plans; understand the power of aligning resources to projects; understand the elements of an effective project plan; be able to discuss status of contactor's project/program plans. Areas to be covered include transitioning from the marketing phase; project or program management; assigning resources and budgets; developing a contract control or implementation plan; performance measures; managing progress and communications; problem resolution; and making changes and completing the envisioned work.
