Managing the sales process is one thing, managing sales people is another. Sales management focuses on how to manage sales people who are often remotely located. It also explores how to maximize individual and team potential while keeping communication open (See Details Below).

Every LTI classroom program is designed to achieve specific results aligned with your immediate business needs. Training Program Details


Managing a sales team is often more challenging than making the actual sale. Participants examine the difference between a manager and a coach, and they explore how to coach on an ongoing, consistent basis, even over distances. This program will give sales managers the tools they need to coach sales people effectively. We explore ways of quickly assessing individual needs and how to best meet those needs to improve their effectiveness. Participants also look at their own coaching style and discuss how to deal with difficult coaching situations.

Use Effective Coaching Skills And Techniques Over Distances
Explore proven methods to help your sales people become more self-sufficient. Learn how to build trust, set goals, learn from mistakes, motivate others, and measure performance.

Delegate Effectively By Recognizing Different Development Needs
People need different things at different times. Recognize where they are in their development level for any given task. Then explore how to give them what they need when they need it.

Reinforce Behavior
The true power of a good sales manager is guiding behavior through reinforcement. To be effective, actions must be honest, consistent, and specific. Explore ways of quickly reinforcing the behaviors you want.

Conduct A Coaching Session
Explore the specific steps necessary for an actual coaching session. This goes beyond mere performance review to actually coaching and developing your people.
