Training incorporates step-by-step models, case analyses, skill application exercises, personal action plans, and reference tools for use on the job. This comprehensive program takes a systematic approach to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), incorporating customer feedback and fact-based decision making to ensure that "process improvement" efforts maximize key business result areas and competitiveness.
Following our proven methodology, participants acquire the essential skills and knowledge to:
  • Gather and use feedback from both internal and external customers to identify requirements and organize work processes to increase satisfaction
  • Understand work processes and establish process measures to gauge performance
  • Develop an improvement plan that closes performance "gaps"
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements and determine how to continually make them better

The Continuous Process Improvement Packaged Training Program is designed to transfer knowledge through six modular units. Flexible facilitation options include:
  • "Intensive" learning approach—Consecutive three-day session
  • "Interval" learning approach
    • Two-day session with on-the-job application and one-day follow-up session
    • Three sessions (one-day each) with on-the-job application between each session
    • Six sessions (half-day each) with on-the-job application between each session
  • "Just-in-time" learning approach—Targeted learning and application sessions conducted on an "as-needed" basis, according to participant requirements

Implementation Support Options NOT Requirements

To maximize the long-term success of the CPI Packaged Training Program, RCA has a variety of support options from which to choose. But, unlike other training programs on the market, there is no certification required in order to purchase and train the program within your own organization. If you are interested in implementation support, we will work with you to help determine the type and level of assistance that best fit the needs and desired outcomes of your company.

Continuous Process Improvement Program Training—In either a Practical Learning Institute™ (PLI) public or on-site, three-day session, an experienced RCA facilitator provides the knowledge and methodology to help management and frontline employees improve strategic business processes within their organization.

Facilitator Training—Instruction is designed for those who will be training others on the tools and concepts covered in RCA's VITAL™ Packaged Training Programs. In this two-day session available on-site and through PLI, learn how to market your RCA program, apply recommended implementation "options," and employ program evaluation techniques, to help ensure your efforts lead to measurable performance improvement.

Customized CPI Coaching—On-site and telephone consultation (by appointment) is available to support a client's specific needs in CPI program content and/or facilitation skills.
