ITS5000 - A+ Boot Camp
Course description
A+ Certification is a CompTIA-sponsored testing program that certifies the competency of computer technicians with 6+ months of experience. This intensive, 5-day Boot Camp covers a broad range of hardware and software technologies, without focus on any particular vendor's products. Students will acquire the skills necessary to take the two exams necessary to obtain the A+ Certification: Core Hardware (Exam 220-301), and O/S Technologies (Exam 220-302). Both exams can be taken at our on-site VUE Testing Center. The Core Hardware exam can be taken as early as mid-course, at the conclusion of the Hardware modules. The O/S Technologies exam can be taken at the conclusion of the O/S modules.
Who should attend This Boot Camp is designed for computer service technicians with at least 6 months on-the-job experience, who wish to validate their technical skill sets. It is also appropriate for students who have completed a Desktop Support Specialist training program with BUCEC or another educational institution.
Prerequisites
Six months hands-on experience installing and configuring PC hardware and software, or completion of a Desktop Support Specialist training program.
