ITP410 - Introduction to Relational Databases
Course description
In today's environment, an effective web page must be able to display current and accurate data to the Internet user. Introduction to Relational Databases using Microsoft SQL Server discusses the role of relational databases in the development of a web application. Microsoft SQL Server is a commonly used software tool for createing tables, establishing referential integrity, and administering a database. Since effective web sites require the functionality to query the database and display data to the user, students learn the syntax of Structured Query Language (SQL).
