TUITION
  • Tuition is by distance learning. You choose the place and the pace.
  • Personal Tutor Support is available for one year from date of receipt of course. Your tutor will help you work through the course and is there to offer advice and assistance to help you reach your full potential. Tutor support is available through email or by post.
  • Course Manual contains seven units, which must be studied in numerical order. The course is user friendly and will provide you with an overall knowledge of the Travel Industry.
  • Assessments must be submitted for correction to the Academy. This will give your Tutor the opportunity to see how you are progressing through the course. Assessments will be graded and sent back to you with a written report, giving you guidance on your progress. Six assessments must be submitted in total.
  • Study time is approximately 80 hours.

 



EXAM DETAILS
  • Final exam can take place at South East Regional Airport, after you have studied the full course and submitted your six assessments to the Academy.
  • This is not an open book exam and students will be supervised during the exam.
  • 80% must be achieved in order to receive the IAOT Home Study Certificate of Achievement.
  • Exam must be completed no later than one year from date of receipt of course unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing by the Academy.

 



 
EXAM VENUES

The following information applies to students not taking their final exam at South East Regional Airport:

exam venues and exam dates in Ireland and England.

Students outside the above countries can take their final exam in their own country, providing that they arrange with their local college to facilitate this.

The college must meet with the Academy's approval and must follow the guidelines set down by the Academy to facilitate the exam.

 



ENROLMENT

Enrol sending a cheque, postal order or bank draft made payable to International Academy of Travel enclosing Registration Form, Curriculum Vitae and passport photograph.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery from date of enrolment

 



COURSE FEE

€415 (Euro) - which includes the following:

  • Course manual which contains seven units
  • Continuous Tutor Support for one year
  • Examination Paper
  • IAOT Home Study Certificate - issued to students who submit six assessments and successfully complete final examination

PRACTICAL WORKSHOP

This practical two-day workshop is optional and is offered to students who are studying the Home Study International Travel Industry Course and would like to put it into practice.

We are offering you the following :

  • An opportunity to train at an Airport using Airport facilities i.e. Cabin Mock-up, Check-In Desks etc.
  • An opportunity to work directly with top class Travel Industry Tutors and learn from their success
  • An opportunity to use Travel Industry Equipment i.e. P.A. System, Life Jackets, Computer System etc.
  • A chance to be assessed face to face with Tutors who are directly involved in Travel Industry recruitment and training.

Team Building Activities is an essential part of this workshop.
