The course introduces the student to Java and to WebSphere Studio Application Developer simultaneously, and encourages the student to use Application Developer as a guide to exploring Java. The course covers the basics of Java syntax, object creation and key classes and their use. Lectures and hands-on exercises complement each other throughout the course.
