Functional implementers and technical consultants including:Oracle Applications Implementation team member System analyst and administrators Application Developer Tech support professionals This course is not designed for the end-user who will ultimately use the Oracle 11i applications.

    • Identify fundamental features of printers in an Oracle applications environment.
    • Identify guidelines for defining printers.
    • Identify features of printing with Pasta.
    • Identify options for customizing print styles.
    • Identify guidelines for customizing printer drivers.
    • Initiate printing and print to the printer.
    • Identify guidelines for setting printer driver settings.
    • Identify the steps involved in defining a printer.

    Unit 2: Miscellaneous DBA Duties

    • Identify features of resource consumer groups.
    • Identify considerations for applying cost-based optimization.
    • Identify guidelines for using the Network Test window.
    • Identify steps involved in modifying Help files.
    • Identify the steps in managing the search index and trees.
    • Identify tasks involved in administering folders.
    • Identify the steps involved in defining a document sequence.
    • Identify the steps involved in defining a document category.
    • Assign a document sequence.

    Minimum Requirements

    The CDROM version of this course requires:

    • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
    • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
    • At least 8MB RAM.
    • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
    • At least a double speed CDROM drive.
    • An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
    The network version of this course requires:
    • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
    • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
    • At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
    • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
