This course provides the learner with an introduction to IE 6. It also covers Web page management and security and features of the IE 6 suite including Newsgroups and NetMeeting.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6: User Fundamentals
Audience
The intended audience for this course does not require a high level of computer skill but learners will probably have had some prior experience with Microsoft Office software and the Windows operating system.
Prerequisites
Learners will need a basic knowledge of either Microsoft Windows 98 or later operating system(s).
Objective
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Identify features of the Internet.
- Identify components of the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 package.
- Identify New Connection Wizard options to connect to the Internet.
- Save a displayed Web page.
- Download a file from the Internet.
- Save an image by using the Image toolbar.
- Sequence the steps for setting up an e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook Express 6.
- Send an e-mail message.
- Reply to an e-mail message.
