This course maps to the Microsoft Office Specialist certification objectives for the Access 2003 Specialist exam. Assuming knowledge of the fundamentals it teaches how to create forms and reports and how to format controls on both forms and reports. The student is also introduced to importing and exporting data to and from Access. Finally this course teaches about backing up and compacting and repairing databases.

Audience
The target audience will range from new users to power users although the vast majority will have had some exposure to previous versions of Access. Fundamental PC and Windows skills are assumed.
Objective
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- To identify options in the Form Wizard.
- To identify AutoForms in the New Form dialog box.
- To identify elements of a PivotChart.
- To identify options in the Report Wizard.
- To identify options in the Page Wizard.
- To set the sort order for a report.
- To publish a table to Excel.
- To identify options in the Import Spreadsheet Wizard.
- To back up a database.

Minimum Requirements
The CDROM version of this course requires:
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
- At least a double speed CDROM drive.
- An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
- At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
- At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
- At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
