In 2009 the hedge fund industry will look very different. Due to the rapid changes in the industry, all investors, service providers and other market participants interested in hedge funds will need to identify and evaluate the strategies that will produce positive returns. The trainer, Jacob H Schmidt, will cover all strategies, however focus very much on the prospects. He will show how hedge fund managers really make money.

The course examines a wide variety of hedge fund trading strategies and scruitinises, each strategy thoroughly through the use of examples and sample portfolios. It describes each strategy's classification as well as its market size and outlook. 'Tricks of the trade' will be explained and delegates will also gain insights into what to look for in a manager. The theoretical approach of the course is interspersed with ample case studies where delegates can put into practice their newly acquired know how with today's changing market.
