Certificate Program Provided by ABC Coaching and Counselling Services Aim: To provide a CPD opportunity for counsellors/ psychotherapists and social workers who want to challenge their current construction of a the clienta ; and to develop a more empowering, insightful model of the mind of the client. Content: We will outline the model of the person/ client which is the core of the CENT approach to counselling/ therapy. This is an amalgam of the REBT, Human Givens, TA, Object Relations, Freudian and Narrative/ Constructivist approaches. Our aim is to overcome 'projections' of simplistic social constructions onto the client, and to aim to see the complex dialectic of physical/ emotional organism with layers of historic interaction with various social others. We want to 'create an empowering and supportive space' in which the 'best version' of the client can emerge. Location, date and time: Hebden Bridge, Saturday 29th August 2009; 10. 00am to 4. 00pm. A Certificate of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for six hours will be issued. Cost: 44. 00 per delegate. Payment: By cheque to ABC Coaching and Counselling Services, 27 Wood End, Keighley Road, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX7 8HJ. Full payment should be made by Friday 7th August 2009. Joining instructions will be issued upon receipt of full payment.
