CNA422 - Cisco® Switching Technologies
Course description
During the Cisco Switching Technologies module, students explore Ethernet switching and basic layer 2 technologies, such as switching/bridging and the Spanning Tree Protocol. Catalyst switch technology is emphasized, including how frames are transmitted, and how the switches communicate with one another. Students setup and configure a Catalyst 1900 switch from scratch. Operation and implementation of Virtual LANs (VLANs) in a Catalyst environment are presented.
