CNA425 - Internet Connectivity and Security
Course description
Record numbers of businesses are connecting to the Internet as a means of disseminating and gathering information, and selling their products and services. During the Internet Connectivity and Security module, students learn to select the appropriate method of connection to the Internet and to address the resulting security concerns. Various Internet connectivity options are discussed in terms of operation, configuration and security features, and then implemented. Students identify the vulnerabilities of sites and the steps that can be taken to reduce or eliminate them. Internet security issues, such as types of attacks and attackers, are discussed.
