This course presents the features of C++ which enable you to use the power of this language effectively. C++ is without a doubt the most complex language in use today, and many important C++ features are covered in introductory courses superficially, if at all. This course addresses this problem by discussing techniques of programming with abstract classes, dynamic memory management, exceptions, namespaces, run time type information, strings and string streams, template classes, and containers of the Standard Template Library. Hands-on lab exercises reinforce your skills of writing efficient and correct C++ programs.
