The National Leadership Institute (NLI) is a nonprofit, independent organization dedicated to educating the boards and mangement of non-profit organizations.
Education programs for non-profits under the auspices of NLI are a cost-efficient, customized, and confidential way for your board to review good governance practices, learn more about roles and responsibilities, develop processes, and engage specific committees more effectively.
These programs are designed to explain governance regulations and reforms, as well as to guide your board in implementing new practices and improving performance and effectiveness. The Programs ensure that the entire board is working from consistent, quality information -- regardless of the issue or challenge. Programs may be held in conjunction with your board meeting or as a board retreat.
Our unique approach is to Partner with other Educational Institutions of higher learning to provide the highest quality of Board Governance Consulting and seminar facilitation. These efforts are also designed to satisfy continuing education requirements of Boards of Directors as required or suggested by Sarbanes Oxley, self regulatory organizations and emerging state mandates for nonprofit organizations.
