CCSE - Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer (NG)

Training Provided by The Career Center CCSE certification is recognized as the industry standard for Internet security certifications. CCSEs possess the knowledge and expertise to configure VPN-1/FireWall-1 as an Internet security solution and virtual private network (VPN) that securely connects corporate offices and remote workers, protecting information exchange and granting access to network resources. CCSE training and testing builds on CCSA training by including an in depth study of encryption technologies and how to implement site-to-site and remote access VPNs. CCSEs are also tested for skills to configure content security by enabling Java blocking and anti-virus checking.

Organizations benefit from firewalls to protect access tot heir network, however, they benefit from secure communications among corporate sites by implementing virtual private networks (VPNs). Check Point NG Certified Security Experts posses in depth knowledge for establishing and managing VPNs with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 and are trained on implementing complex installations of VPN-1/Firewall-1. By preparing for and achieving this certification, you will gain knowledge of:

  • Server Load Balancing
  • Content Security
  • Encryption schemes used by VPN-1 FireWall-1
  • Secure Remote and Secure Client for the benefit of remote access using a VPN
  • Defining a desktop policy and using the policy server
  • Modifying attack detection parameters

These skills will enable you to implement VPN-1/FireWall-1 and construct an enterprise VPN for organizations that have distributed computing environments with multiple branch offices and remote workers. You will be able to accurately configure a stable and secure security solution with centralized management capabilities and advanced encryption schemes.
