Respectful Relationships

Sexual Harassment

Training Provided by SuccessSystems, Inc. This is the positive pro-active approach to eliminating inappropriate, disrespectful behavior in organizations! Often when organizations have problems with harassment, discriminatory behavior, rudeness, etc., they put everyone through the typical anti-sexual harrasment training (1-2 hours of quoting the law, looking at a video and being told to behave!). What a waste of time and money! No behavior change is the usual result. This training teaches participants how to identify behavior that is likely to be perceived by others as disrespectful and how to use interpersonal skills that are most likely to be perceived as respectful. When people learn to be consistently respectful toward others, behavior changes and the problems of harassment, etc. go away! It works!

Respectful Relationships In contrast to the more typical programs targeted at preventing sexual harassment or discriminatory behavior, this training addresses the underlying problem of people being disrespectful toward others. By raising awareness of what words and actions are perceived as disrespectful and then teaching participants how to be consistently respectful when dealing with others, the undesired behaviors go away! Follow-up reports from clients have shown this training to be very effective in helping employees deal with coworkers, direct reports, customers and others in more effective and respectful ways, thus eliminating the problems caused by disrespectful behavior.
