Audience

This course is intended for personnel at all levels of the enterprise and end users wishing to familiarize themselves with Microsoft Visio 2003. Experience with the Windows 2000/XP interface basic PC skills is assumed. Course 72060 Visio 2000 or previous Visio experience is helpful but not required.

Objective

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

  • Identify features of various interface elements in Microsoft Visio 2003.
  • Identify features of different types of drawing templates available in Microsoft Visio 2003.
  • Identify Page Setup options in Microsoft Visio 2003.
  • Match the types of stencils used in Microsoft Visio 2003 with their features.
  • Identify functions of the Stencil toolbar buttons in Microsoft Visio 2003.
  • Identify steps to open a stencil in Microsoft Visio 2003.

    Minimum Requirements

    The CDROM version of this course requires:

    • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
    • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
    • At least 8MB RAM.
    • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
    • At least a double speed CDROM drive.
    • An MPC compliant sound card with attached speakers or headphones is recommended (Currently only the CDROM version supports audio).
    The network version of this course requires:
    • At least a 486DX 33Mhz CPU.
    • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher and a Microsoft compatible mouse.
    • At least 8MB RAM and 22MB available hard disk space or file server space.
    • At least VGA graphics capability with a minimum 512K video RAM (1MB video RAM recommended).
