- Given a set of requirements, choose the Windows OS best suited to satisfying those requirements
- List some of the attributes that contribute to Linux s popularity
- Identify the components of the Linux architecture
- Describe the concepts of open source and the GNU Public License (GPL)
- Identify and use each of the appropriate system files required to configure Linux networking
- Issue commands used to check the network configuration
- Set a Linux server name
- Configure Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) IP addresses, default gateways, and routes
- Change an Ethernet NIC s configuration
