Course Overview

This course is for anyone who needs to understand the Sarbanes Oxley act, how it affects various part of the corporation, and what to do about it. Since IT systems are such a big part of public companies, 1/3 of the class focuses on how IT systems affect Sarbanes Oxley compliance. This class is three days long with an optional certification exam at the end.

Pre-requisites:

You must be an experienced executive, manager or professional with a 4-year or greater post-secondary degree in any subject.

General understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley

Specific Understanding of the COBIT framework

Implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley

On-going management of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
