Ice Advanced Cellar Management Course
The Ice cellar course is designed to help Licensees and their staff ensure that their beer is consistently served in optimum condition. A good pint will increase sales and build demand for more.
Delegates will combine classroom learning with hands on practice in a working cellar.
The course is divided into seven modules, which combine to cover all aspects of Cellar Management and Cellarmanship.
As we are an independent training provider - our courses will not be biased toward any particular brand or practice as is the case with some courses which are available

Cellarmanship and Bars Management
Each candidate will receive a comprehensive course manual to accompany their learning and this will summarise the essentials of good cellar management. It will also supplement the instruction and demonstrations provided as part of the ICE Beer and Cellar Management Course. It is not possible to make any course totally comprehensive, or to cover every possible cellar variation and contingency, but a sound understanding of the principles will help you deal confidently with unforeseen circumstances.
The methods described on this course are based on many years of Brewers and Licensed Trade experience, and will give the most reliable results with most products. In this day and age we are all aware of the importance of offering our customers products of the highest and most consistent quality. This can only be achieved by thorough cellar work and attention to detail, particularly in respect of cleanliness, on which great emphasis is placed throughout.
No part of the cellar equipment is so small or unimportant that its cleaning can be neglected. In the cellar there is no substitute for hard work.
Short cuts lead to sloppy practice, poor quality and falling sales.
This course is essential for all Licensees, new or old. The money saving tips which will be received as part of the course will, within weeks, more than cover the cost of the course itself!
