Our problem-solving decision-making programs focus on helping participants explore a fact-based problem-solving model that targets root causes, weeds out inappropriate solutions and gains buy-in. We also use a matrix analysis to examine how to make better, more consistent decisions (See Details Below).

Every LTI classroom program is designed to achieve specific results aligned with your immediate business needs. By focusing on skills and concepts, promoting direct application, and creating an environment where participants can practice new strategies, the likelihood of impacting real, positive change, is dramatically improved. Each of our programs is specifically designed to address your unique set of needs, and can incorporate any number of assessments and tools that are necessary for achieving those results.

Classroom programs can range in length from two hours to three days. We can conduct these sessions at your place of business, or at other locations including conference centers, resorts, or other meeting facilities. Making Tough Decisions and Taking Right Risks

Do you need to structure and streamline how you solve problems and make decisions? Use this innovative model to make sure you're on target. Filter out any inappropriate solutions and gain "buy-in" every time. The program initially assesses current problem-solving styles, and then uses a unique matrix to uncover the most beneficial solutions. This process highlights the interdependencies of others involved in the decisions that we implement. Participants focus on ways to close the gap between actual and expected performance. They then use this process with current business situations to focus on results and benefits.

Participants will focus on:

Identifying Underlying Causes
To effectively solve problems long term and get beyond the symptoms, one must have both an effective process and the right tools.

Using A Rational/Systematic Methodology
This model helps you analyze the environment, look beyond symptoms to real causes, explore how to gather sufficient data, generate and explore alternatives, gain support for selected solutions, and finally, implement solutions and monitor progress.

Digging Deeper - Getting Past The Obvious
The group will use techniques to help them look beyond possible symptoms to determine actual root causes. They compare data from actual situations and explore changes to eliminate inappropriate options.

Using Decision-Making Tools To Uncover The Best Solution(s)
Participants work through situations using a decision-making matrix. They develop and evaluate criteria, compare alternatives, assess risks, and ultimately reach the best decisions.

Making Touch Decisions
Understand the effects of procrastination and explore what to do when you feel stuck. Learn techniques to strengthen the problem-solving process and take calculated risks.

Practicing With Real-World Business Issues
Each participant comes prepared with a current business or client issue. In small groups, they utilize the resources of the group to develop new solutions.
