Basic HTML
The purpose of this course is to introduce you to HTML, the HyperText Markup Language. This
course will teach you the basics of HTML, the language upon which the web is based. This course
will not cover authoring tools that are available for editing web content. When completing this
course the student will know:
- What is HTML, and what are HTML tags
- The minimum requirements for an HTML document
- Basic typsetting such as bold, italic, underline, paragraph
- The heading tags
- Putting images on web pages
- Creating basic hyperlinks
- Creating a table
- Changing background, link, and font colors
- Special characters (e.g. , , , ...)
