In today s business world, it is imperative that every business and organization has a presence on the World Wide Web.  Creating a viable web site requires a set of readily attainable skills and techniques. 

This intensive class will take you from the basic concepts of web site interaction with the World Wide Web through design and then deployment of a web site. Several types of sites will be addressed, including informational, e-commerce, lead generation and community sites.  The course will prepare you for creating basic personal or business oriented sites. All aspects of web site development will be discussed, including planning, architecture, coding and scripting, deployment, and maintenance. You will also learn how to use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Macromedia Flash MX to increase productivity and to help make your websites more appealing.  You will leave this course with a completed, functional website.

Prerequisites
Students should be proficient a Windows 2000, Windows NT or Windows XP environment.  Students should also be proficient using Notepad or a similar tool, and Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
