This course is meant for computer hardware technicians and service engineers who want to acquire knowledge of installing, configuring, and networking a PC. This course discusses the process of assembling and configuring various PC components, such as motherboard, disk drives, and memory, and also describes the procedure of installing and tuning Windows operating systems on a PC. It also provides users with an overview of different types of networks and discusses various topologies, cables, protocols, and utilities used for implementing a network. Additionally, this course enables users to acquire knowledge on configuring a PC to share resources with a network, using the TCP/IP protocol. Course Name Installing and Configuring a PC
Audience This course is designed for hardware technicians and service engineers responsible for hardware maintenance of PCs. The users should be familiar with the basic concepts of a PC. 
Course Requirements You need Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above OR Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.78 or above.
