This course is the fourth course of the four courses in the C++ curriculum. The title of this course is Data Manipulation in C++. This course introduces students to the data manipulation features of C++. In addition to understanding stream and file handling in C++, the students are introduced to the role of preprocessor in C++. After completing this course, the student will be able to:
define data conversion
use typecasting for data conversion
use one-argument constructors for conversion
define and use conversion functions
define the input/output streams in C++
understand the concept of buffered I/O operations
perform console input/output operations using streams
list the data formatting features of C++
implement redirection of streams
list the data formatting features of C++
implement redirection of streams
open a file in C++
perform file input/output operations
manipulate a file pointer's position in a file
identify types of file I/O errors
describe the use of the #define directive
describe the use of the #include directive
implement conditional compilation using directives
define the preprocessor operators
identify the #pragma directives
Training Avaliability and Delivery
This is primarily online training
This is an online eLearning or CBT training program
Programmers and Application Developers who have experience in programming using a structured language like Fortran and Pascal constitute the primary audience for this curriculum. This curriculum would introduce them to the object-oriented programming techniques of C++.
