The Intermediate Java Programming course is the third course in the Java curriculum consisting of four courses. It gives an overview of the intermediate programming constructs in Java. It teaches how to code simple programs using the java.lang and java.util packages, handle exceptions in a program, input and output data using the java.io package, and use multiple threads in a program. In addition, it prepares students to take the Sun Certified Java Programmer Examination for JDK 1.1. After completing this course, the student will be able to:
